Label Applicators and Print & Apply Systems

The labelling LABELstep label applicator offers an application speed from 5 to 15 metres per minute with labels widths from 20 to 100 mm. This simple to operate machine is ideal for general on-line label application requirements, particularly where simplicity and good value for money are paramount.

The LABELstep T applicator is the LABELspeed T’s 'Little brother'.Maintaining all the virtues of the LABELstep label applicator, the LABELstep T incorporates SATO’s latest LT408 print engine – designed for low-to-medium speed applications and bringing print &apply into new markets which, historically, it would not normally be viable.

The LABELspeed is a high performance label applicator designed to accommodate even the most demanding labelling requirements.

• With facilities to save, recall and apply up to ninety-nine label set up configurations, using the sophisticated features of the LABELspeed could not be easier.


• The LABELspeed control system can interface with computer-based systems, allowing full integration into the most advanced production systems.


• The high-speed option allows up to 500 labels a minute to be applied accurately at line speeds of 80 metres/ min.


• A wide range of options and accessories ensure that the LABELspeed can be used in almost all labelling applications, including multi format blow-on labelling, underside labelling, wrap-around and tamper evident applications.

LABELspeed T label applicator integrates all SATO, TEC and ZEBRA thermal transfer print engines. This intehration allows it to print real time batch data such as sell-by dates, bar codes, progressive numbering and graphics, etc.

Controlling the print engine independently to the applicator via dancing arm controller, the unit is both able to print and apply simultaneusly meaning it is at least twice as fast as any traditional one to one print and apply applicator such as the LABELcode.

The LABELspeed Xtra label applicator is stronger and harder in the structure than the standard model; and it is also equipped with a 350 mm diameter unwind unit and an oversized and motorised rewinder unit for the silicon paper, to get more working autonomy: crucial characteristic, this, above all when at 60 m/min (80 options) linear speeds and 800 pieces/min cruising rate, the unwind exhaustion happens quickly. In extreme cases it´s possible to resort also to a - no-stop - device between two labelling machines in cascade connection, that allows the unwind change without stopping the line. The LabelSpeed Xtra machine body is IP55 and the control box is anti water INOX.
